Additive manufacturing as a tool to create live in 3D workshop

Last July 26–27 the workshop Additive Manufacturing as a Tool to Create Life in 3D was held at CEITEC-BUT with the funding of the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action and co-financed by the South Moravian Region under grant agreement No. 665860. https://www.ceitec.eu/matporcessing/activities/

The workshop was designed to meet the aim of CEITEC of integrating life sciences with advanced materials and technologies. Therefore, it brought together outstanding talks in the different disciplines involved in the additive manufacturing of biomaterials for medical applications.

During two days internationally renowned scientist from different European countries and the Czech Republic shared their knowledge with 60 participants. Speakers coming from universities, technological centres and industries gave the workshop a high interdisciplinary and intersectorial approach. In particular, the participation of clinicians and local industrial partners promoted the improvement of the educational environment.

In general, the workshop enabled participants to increase their network, establish new collaborations, exchange knowledge and discuss recent advances in related topics. I acknowledge all the attendees for their time and interest. You are welcome in the next activity of MatProcesing-4-Medicine (https://old.ceitec.eu/matporcessing/).
